Tax Manager

Location: Wayne, PA

Overview

A nationally ranked, fast-growing accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager for its new Wayne, PA office. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax seniors, semi-seniors, associates and staff accountants
• Ensure assignments are completed within budgeted time
• Lead client engagements from start to finish
• Interact with clients on tax matters throughout the year
• Identify risk management issues and propose solutions through research and collaboration
• Conduct research and draw conclusions on targeted issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
• CPA license required
• Construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate and financial services experience desired; other industries considered
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ProSystem/CCH tax software
• Strong tax accounting skills, including US GAAP, corporate consolidated returns, partnership returns and combined state returns
• Ability to review a variety of returns and manage staff on multiple engagements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
