Audit Supervisor

Location: Hartford, CT

Overview

A well-regarded regional CPA firm offering assurance, advisory, tax and technology services is seeking an Assurance Supervisor in Hartford. This is a hybrid position, alternating between remote work, the office and client locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with auditors, analysts and client representatives to align on engagement objectives and expectations
• Review audit documentation prepared by associates and senior associates for accuracy and timeliness
• Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Coordinate engagement schedules and team assignments
• Lead engagement planning, including budgeting and risk assessment
• Delegate tasks based on budgets and ensure compliance with quality control standards
• Provide technical expertise to team members and clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or equivalent years of experience
• CPA license or actively pursuing
• 150 credit hours for CPA certification or actively pursuing (state dependent)
• 4+ years of relevant experience; industry-specific knowledge required
• Valid driver's license
