About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Director of Patient Growth & Outreach to lead strategic business development, referral growth, and community outreach initiatives across our healthcare organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that increase patient volume, strengthen referral networks, and expand our presence within the communities we serve.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated healthcare business development professional with a proven track record of building physician relationships, driving patient acquisition, and developing strategic partnerships that result in measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive patient growth and outreach strategies to increase referrals and patient volume.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, healthcare providers, employers, and community organizations.
- Identify new referral sources and partnership opportunities throughout Florida.
- Conduct regular in-person meetings with referral partners and healthcare stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, community events, and industry meetings.
- Track referral activity, growth metrics, and outreach performance using CRM and reporting tools.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, marketing, and clinical teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Develop and manage outreach campaigns, educational programs, and community engagement efforts.
- Create and maintain referral pipelines while ensuring exceptional service to referral partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, provider outreach, healthcare sales, or patient growth.
- Demonstrated success increasing patient referrals and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of healthcare referral patterns and patient acquisition strategies.
- Experience working with physicians, hospitals, specialty practices, healthcare systems, or post-acute providers.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel throughout Florida as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Multi-site healthcare organization experience.
- Physician liaison or provider relations background.
- Experience in specialty care, behavioral health, surgery centers, dermatology, aesthetics, rehabilitation, home health, or healthcare services.
- Knowledge of healthcare marketing, referral development, and growth analytics.
