Solicitor (2–8 Years Call)

A national, full-service law firm is open to adding high-quality associates (2–8 years call) to its solicitor-side practice in Calgary.

The Opportunity

This is a growth-oriented opportunity within a well-established firm that is actively seeking strong talent. The group is open to candidates from both large national firms and well-regarded boutique practices.

You will join a collaborative team with a steady flow of sophisticated work and the ability to expand your practice across multiple areas.

Practice Areas

• Corporate and commercial law
• Securities
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Real estate
• Wills and estates

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist on a variety of transactional matters
• Draft and review agreements and supporting documents
• Provide strategic legal advice to business and individual clients
• Support complex transactions from inception through closing
• Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions

Ideal Candidate

• 2–8 years of solicitor-side experience
• Background in one or more of the listed practice areas
• Strong drafting, analytical, and client management skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Experience from a national firm or respected boutique is welcomed
