Bid Coordinator

A commercial roofing contractor is looking for a Bid Coordinator to manage the preparing, formatting, and submitting project proposals, tenders, and bids to win new business. They will ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant with requirements, and delivered on time.

Bid Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Management: Lead the coordination of Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) responses.
  • Submission Compliance: Review tender documents to ensure all mandatory requirements, specifications, and deadlines are met.
  • Documentation & Editing: Produce, format, and edit proposal documents, ensuring they are visually cohesive, error-free, and branded.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, technical teams, and directors to gather necessary information and content for bids.
  • Administration: Maintain bid trackers, manage bid libraries, and update case studies/CVs. 

Bid Coordinator Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Organization: Strong project management abilities to handle multiple, simultaneous, and strict deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bid Coordinator Compensation

  • Salary based on experience – bonus based on company profitability
