Executive Summary
Are you a proactive, highly driven relationship builder who excels at opening doors and driving long-term commercial growth?
We are representing the premier, most reputable restoration company in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Backed by national resources while maintaining a deep-rooted, tight-knit culture, our client is in aggressive growth mode. With an established revenue run-rate exceeding $100M and an industry-leading customer retention rate of over 90%, we are expanding our sales presence and hiring top-performing Business Development Associates in the DFW area.
This is a hunter-farmer role built around authentic, high-touch local networking and complete ownership of your market. If you thrive on face-to-face interaction, deep team collaboration, and high commission upside with leading market presence, this is the opportunity for you.
A Truly Relational Culture & Unmatched Autonomy
What truly sets this organization apart is how closely the team works together and how much leadership values personal trust and freedom:
- People & Team First: This is a family-oriented environment where colleagues genuinely support one another. Team synergy and mutual respect come before individual ego.
- Celebration & Inclusion: From annual Christmas dinners to post-tradeshow gatherings, leadership regularly hosts team dinners where spouses and partners are warmly invited. You aren't just an employee—your family is part of the community.
- Autonomy Over Micromanagement: Leadership hates unnecessary meetings and trusts you to manage your own schedule and market. You get complete autonomy to run your business like your own while having full executive backing.
- Minimal Internal Meetings: We prioritize customer-facing time and field success over sitting in conference rooms. Internal cadences are brief and meaningful (a single team check-in every two weeks and a 30-minute 1-on-1 every three weeks).
What We Offer
- Competitive Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (flexible) DOE
- Guaranteed Earnings Safety Net: 6-Month Commission Guarantee paid out monthly while you build your pipeline.
- Uncapped Earning Potential: Sales professionals closing $2.0M – $2.5M per year earn $200,000 – $250,000+ total compensation (depending on project mix), with top performers clearing $400,000 – $470,000+.
- Top-Tier Benefits: Exceptional Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage ("The Bomb" health plan); Outstanding 401(k) program with company match; Unlimited PTO (Performers average 6–8 weeks off annually while closing deals)
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Associate, your primary goal is to build brand authority, form strong strategic referral partnerships, and expand market share across DFW.
- Target Referral Networks: Focus on three main verticals (approx. 1/3 Insurance Agents, 1/3 Plumbers/Trade Contractors, 1/3 Commercial Property Managers & Multi-Family Facilities).
- Strategic Relationship Management: Maintain frequent, authentic touchpoints with key referral sources (e.g., hosting monthly partner appreciation dinners and attending industry trade shows).
- Cross-Market Collaboration: Spend half a day every two weeks collaborating alongside peers in neighboring markets to share leads, cross-sell, and support each other's growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven Track Record: Experience in business development, field sales, or referral-based account management (commercial, multi-family, insurance, construction, or restoration background is a plus).
- Relationship & Culture First: Confident, thoughtful communicator who leads with a team-first mindset and thrives in close-knit group dynamics.
- Self-Managed Hunter/Farmer: Enjoys freedom, continuous learning, and driving results through face-to-face engagements without needing hand-holding.
- Market Coverage: Deep familiarity with the DFW metroplex and willingness to be out in the field daily.

We value efficiency and focus heavily on mutual cultural fit:
- Initial Profile & BDA Assessment: Quick predictive behavioral assessment to gauge market fit and sales orientation.
- First Round Interview: Virtual conversation with the Training Coordinator & Talent Team.
