Job Description

A structural steel fabrication company is hiring a Safety Director to start right away. With three local shops under your watch and a direct reporting line to leadership, you'll have the authority to decide how safety is done at every location.

What you'll do

• Shape safety metrics into clear reports for leadership
• Run the safety program for all 3 fabrication shops and grow it over time
• Teach crews and shop leaders safe fabrication practices on the floor
• Lead OSHA compliance efforts, including inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Find hazards before they cause problems and drive corrective actions

What we're looking for

• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered
• Working expertise in OSHA standards
• Background managing safety across multiple local sites
• Safety leadership experience in structural steel fabrication or a related industrial/manufacturing environment

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
