Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney: Defend Physicians and Health Care Providers in Naples

Our client, an established Southwest Florida defense firm, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its Naples office. The practice defends physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers in professional liability claims from presuit through trial.

This is an in-office role in Naples, working side by side with experienced trial attorneys.

What You'll Do

• Manage medical malpractice defense cases from presuit investigation through trial
• Draft motions, discovery, and detailed reports to clients and carriers
• Take and defend depositions of parties, treating physicians, and experts
• Work with medical experts to evaluate standard of care and causation
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of medical malpractice defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong analytical, writing, and case management skills
• Confidence in depositions and courtroom settings
• Commitment to working in office in Naples
