Tax Manager
Location: Michigan - Grand Rapids
Overview
a respected, growing regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager to manage tax compliance and planning for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of a broad range of individual, corporate and other entity tax returns
- Conduct tax research to develop solutions for clients' complex or unique situations
- Provide direction and new challenges to associates on your team; teach, develop and mentor them
- Deliver an exceptional client experience and contribute to clients' success
- Build internal relationships that foster teamwork and collaboration
- Participate in business development and introduce other firm specialists to existing clients
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
- CPA license required; MST a plus
- Outstanding client service and communication skills
- Passion for coaching others to higher levels of performance
- Commitment to continuous learning, fresh thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
