Tax Manager - Business Tax

Location: Denver, CO

Overview

A full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm is seeking a Commercial Tax Manager in Denver. You will provide federal tax compliance and planning services to large middle-market and public companies, work closely with firm leadership, and play a key role in business development and firm administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance, planning and consulting to large middle-market and public companies, including private equity-backed clients and partnerships
• Sell and execute engagements across a variety of industries, especially manufacturing and distribution, technology and construction
• Manage, mentor and develop staff
• Attract new clients and expand services to existing clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's preferred
• CPA with 5+ years of federal tax compliance, planning and consulting experience at a public accounting firm
• Experience with private equity-backed clients, large businesses and partnerships
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
