Job Description

Ready to run safety for an entire steel fabrication operation? A structural steel fabrication company with three local shops is filling its Safety Director role immediately. You'll report directly to leadership and set the safety direction at all three locations.

What you'll do

• Put corrective actions in place as soon as hazards are spotted
• Own and develop the safety program at all 3 fabrication shops
• Keep crews and shop leaders sharp on safe fabrication practices through ongoing training
• Handle OSHA compliance across the shops, from inspections and audits to incident investigations
• Track key safety metrics and present the results to leadership

What we're looking for

• Hands-on knowledge of OSHA standards
• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered
• Safety leadership background in structural steel fabrication or a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience handling safety for multiple local sites

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
