We’re partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Development to drive strategic growth and client acquisition. This executive role will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and working closely with leadership to shape long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts across commercial construction sectors (e.g., healthcare, education, industrial, office)
Identify and pursue new project opportunities and partnerships
Build and maintain a strong network of client and industry contacts
Collaborate with estimating and executive teams on proposals and presentations
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in commercial construction business development
Proven track record in securing high-value projects and client accounts
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Deep understanding of local and regional construction markets
Existing industry relationships highly preferred
