Affordable Housing Attorney – Los Angeles, CA

A nationally recognized law firm with a strong real estate and finance practice is seeking an Affordable Housing Attorney to join its growing team in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, mission-driven transactions within a well-established affordable housing practice. This role offers meaningful transactional work in a growing and highly specialized practice area with long-term career potential.

Responsibilities

• Represent investors, syndicators, and developers in affordable housing transactions
• Assist with tax credit financings and complex real estate and corporate deals
• Work on HUD-assisted housing, public housing revitalization, and related lending matters
• Manage and support transactions from structuring through closing
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on deal strategy and execution

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Experience in affordable housing transactions strongly preferred
• Background with tax credits, HUD programs, public housing, or real estate finance is a plus
• Experience closing complex real estate or corporate transactions
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
