A highly respected and growing General Contractor is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager to join its Colorado Springs team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional who wants to manage complex federal projects, work with an exceptional leadership team, and have a clear path for long-term career advancement.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Federal Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, quality, and client relationships.

You'll work alongside experienced Superintendents and senior leadership to successfully deliver high-profile federal construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage federal construction projects from award through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Oversee project financial performance and cost controls
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and government stakeholders
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and documentation
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and federal requirements
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
  • Monitor schedule, quality, safety, and overall project performance
  • Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions
  • Work closely with field leadership to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Manage project closeout and final turnover

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of construction Project Management experience
  • Federal construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with commercial, military, government, or institutional projects is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS$120K – $155K Base Salary

+ Performance Bonus
