Job Description

We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team and lead survey operations. This individual will play a key role in overseeing field and office staff, signing and sealing work, and serving as a trusted partner to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead survey projects from proposal through final deliverables
• Perform boundary analysis and prepare legal descriptions
• Review, sign, and seal plats, ALTA surveys, and maps
• Manage field crews and CAD staff
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and agencies
• Prepare proposals, scopes, and fee estimates
• Coordinate with civil, planning, and environmental teams
• Ensure quality control and compliance with state standards

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required or the ability to obtain within 6 months
• 8+ years of land surveying experience
• Proven experience managing survey crews and projects
• Strong knowledge of boundary law and state survey standards
• Experience with budgeting and proposals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; Trimble Business Center a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
