A well-established commercial pool contractor based in the greater Philadelphia area is hiring a Traveling Pool Building Foreman to lead crews on commercial pool projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast! They focus on commercial pools only. This is a travel role with overnight stays at project sites, a company van and steady year-round work. Traveling Pool Building Foreman Responsibilities:
- Lead and work alongside field crews building commercial swimming pools
- Oversee layout, excavation, forming, rebar, concrete and pool piping
- Read plans and specifications and keep the work on schedule
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors and inspectors
- Keep the jobsite safe, clean and productive
- Report daily progress, manpower and material needs to project management
- Travel to project sites across the region with regular overnight stays
Traveling Pool Building Foreman Qualifications:
- Commercial pool construction experience
- Prior foreman, lead or crew leader experience
- Working knowledge of concrete forming, reinforcing steel and PVC plumbing
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Willing to travel overnight for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
