Construction Foreman

A commercial construction contractor with a focus on new construction is looking for Foreman to help them run projects from the field.  The position comes with competitive pay as well as benefits.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules
• Responsible for interfacing with project owners
• Walk jobsite and verify quality and rough ins
• Review and handle shop drawings process
• Complete jobsite control of deliveries, scheduling subcontractors, and inspections
• Contact architect and engineers for RFI’s or questions
• Main point of contact for project inquiries and responsibilities from overall project perspective
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with interacting with project management of commercial construction projects
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors
• Make purchase orders and product scheduling

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of ground up commercial construction experience
• Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications

Compensation:

• Negotiable based on experience with benefits included
