Job Description

A well-established and growing organic food manufacturer is seeking a CDL Milk Truck Driver to join its transportation team. This role is responsible for safely collecting, transporting, and delivering bulk milk between dairy farms and processing facilities while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

Schedule

  • 3 days per week, occasional weekend
  • 12 hours (5am - 5pm)
  • Home every night

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate bulk milk tanker trucks between farms and processing facilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Collect, sample, grade, and measure milk from farm bulk tanks
  • Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and transportation documentation
  • Ensure product quality and sanitation standards are maintained throughout collection and delivery
  • Communicate professionally with farmers, plant personnel, and dispatch teams
  • Address transportation, delivery, and quality-related issues as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and vehicles
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, safety, biosecurity, and company regulations

Qualifications

  • Class A or B CDL required
  • Tanker Endorsement required or ability to obtain
  • Current FMCSA Medical Card
  • Wisconsin Bulk Milk Weigher & Sampler License or ability to obtain
  • Strong safety record and stable work history
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
