A growing national law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to establish and lead its Vancouver office.

This opportunity is open to both litigators and solicitors with an established practice and the entrepreneurial drive to build and grow a regional office. The ideal candidate understands the Vancouver legal landscape, has developed strong professional relationships within the market, and is looking for more than a lateral move - they are looking to help shape the future of a growing firm.

The Role

As the Vancouver Office Lead, you will:

• Lead the firm's expansion into the Vancouver market
• Continue to grow and manage your existing practice
• Build relationships within the legal and business communities
• Mentor lawyers and participate in future recruitment
• Collaborate with partners across Canada on client matters and strategic initiatives
• Help shape the long-term vision and growth of the Vancouver office

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of legal experience
• Practice may be solicitor, litigation, or a combination of both
• Established portable book of business
• Strong reputation within the Vancouver legal and business communities
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or practice management experience
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing both a practice and an office
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia

Compensation

The partnership model is designed for entrepreneurial lawyers, offering monthly draws based on projected revenues, regular production reconciliations, and compensation that directly rewards both client work and business development.
