We are seeking a motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a well-established and respected litigation firm in Hoover, Alabama. Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and complex civil litigation.
- Gain exposure to sports law and other specialized litigation matters.
- Manage cases from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, discovery, legal research, and case investigations.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Develop litigation strategies and communicate directly with clients.
- Utilize modern legal technology, including AI-integrated tools, to improve efficiency and case management.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Alabama Bar license.
- Prior commercial litigation or civil defense litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling depositions, motions, and discovery.
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team.
