FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL

An established family law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its legal team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage competing priorities while treating clients with professionalism, discretion, and compassion.

The Family Law Paralegal will provide essential case support involving divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, and other sensitive family law matters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests, and legal documents

  • Organize and maintain case files, calendars, court dates, and filing deadlines

  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel

  • Prepare exhibits and supporting documents for hearings, mediation, and trial

  • Assist attorneys throughout every stage of the litigation process

  • Monitor deadlines and ensure documents are filed accurately and on time

The successful Family Law Paralegal will be comfortable handling confidential information and communicating with clients during emotionally difficult situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous family law or litigation experience

  • Strong writing, organization, and client communication skills

  • Familiarity with court procedures and electronic filing systems

  • Ability to prioritize multiple cases and meet strict deadlines

  • Professional judgment and careful attention to detail
