Litigation Associate Attorney

An established and growing litigation firm is seeking Litigation Associate Attorneys with 2 to 6 years of civil defense litigation experience to join its California practice. Opportunities are available across multiple litigation groups, including General Liability and Products Liability, with office placement based on business needs and candidate preference.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to handle sophisticated litigation, work alongside experienced litigators, and continue developing their advocacy and trial skills in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences

  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts

  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys to develop litigation strategy

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license

  • 2 to 6 years of civil litigation experience following bar admission

  • Experience in insurance defense, general liability, products liability, or comparable defense litigation preferred

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Experience handling discovery, motion practice, depositions, and client communication

  • Ability to manage multiple matters while working effectively within a team
