A well-regarded public-sector focused law firm is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join its Concord office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator with a background in employment matters, particularly those involving public agencies or school districts. The firm offers flexibility in work arrangement (onsite, hybrid, and remote options). 

• Handle employment law matters involving public entities and school districts
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and provide employment law advice and counsel
• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and litigation proceedings
• Manage cases from intake through resolution
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategy and compliance matters

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 6–8 years of employment law experience preferred
• Experience working with school districts or public agencies preferred
• Solid research, writing, and litigation skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
