A sophisticated, international top-tier law firm is seeking to add a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to its team in El Segundo, California. The firm offers a flexible schedule, with attorneys typically in the office a couple of days a week for collaboration.

This is an employment defense position, but plaintiff-side attorneys interested in switching sides will be considered. If you want to join a great team with strong tenure, this is an opportunity to explore.

What You'll Do

• Advise employers on hiring, employment contracts, compensation, discipline, and termination matters
• Defend employers in wage-and-hour and PAGA matters
• Handle union and management matters, including organizing campaigns, grievances, arbitration, and dispute resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality written work product

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment experience
• Wage-and-hour and PAGA experience required
• Strong academic background (top-30 law school preferred)
• Big-firm experience is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
• An enthusiastic, positive approach and a team-player mindset
