Litigation Associate – Lemon Law (Remote | California Bar Required)

A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join its growing team. This is a fully remote position for attorneys licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pre-litigation caseload involving California Lemon Law matters.
• Evaluate new cases, including statute of limitations and case viability.
• Audit newly retained matters for completeness and identify additional information needed.
• Communicate and negotiate with manufacturers, dealerships, and opposing counsel.
• Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, and other pre-litigation documents.
• Provide strategic counsel and exceptional client service throughout the pre-litigation process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with the ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution.
• Experience with pleadings, legal research, negotiations, and client counseling.
• Active California Bar license required.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
