General Liability Attorney Position Overview

Our client is seeking a General Liability Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling civil litigation matters and be comfortable managing cases through various stages of litigation. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team and take on meaningful responsibility with a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of general liability and civil litigation matters

• Handle cases from inception through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents

• Propound and respond to written discovery

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties

• Assist with trial preparation and strategy

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience

• General liability, insurance defense, or related litigation experience preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines

• California Bar admission in good standing

• ABA preferred
