Insurance Defense Litigation Associate | 1–5 Years

A well-established law firm is looking to add an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to its California team. This is a discreet search for an attorney with 1–5 years of litigation experience who wants hands-on responsibility and the opportunity to build their practice within a strong team.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills, with experience or interest in insurance defense litigation. Responsibilities will include discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Experience with construction defect, general liability, commercial, or professional liability matters is a plus.

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of litigation experience
• Active California Bar license, in good standing
• Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills
• Insurance defense experience preferred
• Newly admitted attorneys with strong litigation interest will be considered

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite
• Competitive base salary, DOE
• Monthly bonuses for billable hours over 160
• $45/hour for every hour billed over 160
• Full benefits package including 401(k), medical insurance, PTO, disability, and EAP
