This firm is known for its collaborative culture, strong defense practice, and long-standing client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in civil litigation defense, general liability, and/or professional liability who is looking to grow within a supportive and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Handle depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to drive successful case outcomes
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and carriers
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar license (required)
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation defense, general liability, and/or professional liability
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
