Certified Paralegal - Healthcare Litigation and Labor & Employment (Hybrid) in Los Angeles

Date Posted: 13 October 2026

Job Snapshot

Job Description

A well-established boutique litigation firm, founded more than 20 years ago, is urgently hiring a Certified Paralegal to support its defense-side healthcare litigation and labor and employment practices. Most of the firm's attorneys come from BigLaw, and they serve top-tier institutional clients. The firm goes to trial or arbitration two to three times a year.

This is a replacement for a senior paralegal who is retiring. You'll have the chance to overlap with and shadow them, with as much cross-training as possible before they leave.

The firm staffs its cases leanly, so you'll get substantial hands-on experience and real room to grow. Most staff work remotely. After a 30-day onboarding period in the office, this role is hybrid: four days from home and one day a week in the downtown LA office.

  • You'll support litigation from intake through trial and arbitration on healthcare and labor and employment defense matters.
  • You'll record your time, though there is no formal billable-hour requirement.
  • A paralegal certificate is required.
  • You'll need at least 3 years of California litigation experience.
