Commercial Litigation Attorney: High-Caliber Disputes with Hybrid Flexibility in Newport Beach

Our client, a highly regarded Orange County law firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its Newport Beach, California office. The firm represents companies, investors, and entrepreneurs in complex business disputes, including contract, partnership, real estate, and unfair competition matters.

This is a hybrid role. You will split your week between the Newport Beach office and home, with direct partner mentorship and meaningful responsibility on every matter.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial litigation matters from case intake through trial or resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions and argue law and motion matters
• Develop case strategy alongside partners and communicate directly with clients
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of commercial or business litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating as part of a team
• Midsize or large firm experience preferred
