About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing structural engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile projects across a variety of specialized sectors, including mission critical facilities, life sciences/biotech, healthcare, and aviation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design experience, project coordination skills, and a passion for delivering innovative structural solutions.

As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to project planning and execution, and play a key role in delivering projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop construction documents, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout all phases of project development.
  • Support project managers in maintaining schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Participate in design meetings, client presentations, and project coordination efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Assist with construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits as needed.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5–7 years of structural engineering experience in building design.
  • Experience working on projects within one or more of the following sectors:
  • Mission Critical/Data Centers
  • Life Sciences/Biotechnology
  • Healthcare Facilities
  • Aviation/Airports
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Experience using structural analysis and design software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.
