Plaintiff Associate Attorney – Sexual Abuse, PI & Civil Rights

Location: Pasadena, CA (In-Office) Salary: $150,000+ DOE + bonuses, Health Benefits, 401(k) with 3% match Experience: 1+ Years (Plaintiff experience preferred) Urgently Hiring

About the Firm

A respected Pasadena-based plaintiff firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The firm handles high-impact, emotionally significant cases, including:

• Child sexual abuse & adult sexual assault

• Police misconduct & civil rights violations

• Catastrophic injury & wrongful death

• Serious personal injury, car accidents, and complex civil suits

Unlike high-volume plaintiff firms, this practice focuses on 12–15 meaningful cases at a time — many with multiple victims and substantial value. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on clients while developing as a trial lawyer.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a select caseload of 12–15 high-value plaintiff matters

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft, argue, and oppose motions

• Work closely with partners on strategy, case development, and trial prep

• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

• Participate in 2–3 trials per year, gaining significant courtroom experience

Attorneys who want to build trial skills will receive strong mentorship and meaningful opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of litigation experience, preferably plaintiff-side

• Interest in sexual abuse, civil rights, child abuse, and catastrophic injury work

• Strong writing, research, and communication skills

• Ability to manage sensitive, trauma-informed cases with compassion

• Desire to grow long-term within a high-impact practice

• Must work in-office (Pasadena)

• Salary: Commensurate on experience
