We’re partnering with a highly respected architecture firm seeking a Job Captain who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and team leadership. This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of construction documents, guide production teams, and ensure projects move forward with precision and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the production of construction documents from design development through completion
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff and drafting teams
  • Manage Revit/CAD workflows, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Coordinate across disciplines (MEP, structural, civil) to ensure seamless integration
  • Partner with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with client expectations
  • Maintain and enforce firm standards, QA/QC processes, and documentation quality
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and design detailing

What You Bring

  • 5–10+ years of experience in architecture (commercial, mixed-use, or similar project types preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required); AutoCAD and other tools a plus
  • Proven experience producing and coordinating construction documents
  • Ability to lead production teams and mentor junior staff
  • Strong understanding of building codes, detailing, and technical design
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate design into buildable solutions
  • Progress toward licensure or licensed architect (preferred, not required)
