We are seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Land Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to impactful projects shaping growing communities. This role offers structured development, strong mentorship, and a clear path toward PE licensure and long-term advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in land development projects from concept through construction
- Support design of site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities
- Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis
- Collaborate with internal multi-disciplinary teams
- Prepare reports, specifications, and permit submittals
- Support project managers with budgeting and scheduling
- Participate in client meetings and agency coordination
- Ensure accuracy and quality in design documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months
- 0–4 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in pursuing PE licensure
