The Opportunity:We’re seeking a detail-oriented, driven Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This key role will support the CFO in managing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and strengthening the company’s internal controls and processes as we continue our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:•Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger functions.•Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries.•Assist with monthly and year-end closings, including accruals and financial reporting packages.•Support the CFO in developing and maintaining accounting policies and internal control systems.•Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process; analyze financial performance against budget.•Lead, manage, and mentor the accounting team (4 total), with 2 direct reports, providing leadership and guidance to ensure team success.•Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.•Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and sales to provide financial insights.•Drive process improvements and contribute to ERP system enhancements

Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).•5+ years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.•Hands-on experience with manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost accounting, and variance analysis (standard costing a plus).•Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.•Proficiency with ERP systems (Dynamics GP a plus).•Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
