Litigation Paralegal Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established, multi-office law firm known for its collaborative culture and commitment to client service.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in state and federal court filings, calendaring deadlines and court appearances, and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including trial preparation. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, file, and manage legal documents in both state and federal courts.

  • Maintain and track court deadlines and case-related schedules through efficient calendaring.

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including document organization, exhibit preparation, and case research.

  • Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials.

  • Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.

  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and organized.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department.

  • Proficiency in state and federal court filing procedures.

  • Strong calendaring and deadline management skills.

  • Experience providing trial support, including preparing trial binders and exhibits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
