Job Description:

A national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Plaintiffs Asbestos Attorney to join its established litigation team. The firm focuses on complex civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on plaintiffs asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, general liability, and commercial litigation. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney looking to take on a leadership position while managing high-value, complex cases in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and independently manage a complex litigation caseload from inception through trial
  • Take and defend advanced depositions, including key plaintiffs, experts, and corporate representatives
  • Develop case strategy, oversee discovery, and drive motion practice
  • Prepare cases for trial, including direct involvement in trial strategy and courtroom execution
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and legal staff
  • Work closely with clients to provide strategic legal guidance and case updates
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing records

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience, with significant experience in plaintiffs asbestos or toxic tort matters
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently and lead litigation strategy
  • Extensive experience with depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation (trial experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and case management skills
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
