A top-rated, nationally prominent firm is looking to add a senior associate with substantive private investment fund experience to their growing Investment Funds & Advisers practice. This is a partnership-track opportunity within a sophisticated, cutting-edge group that represents hundreds of private funds and investment advisers nationwide.

The practice works across the full range of fund strategies including hedge funds, venture funds, private equity funds, and credit funds and advises investment advisers on the regulatory regimes that govern them. Senior associates are given the opportunity to participate in high stakes matters and are actively supported as they build the book of business that will sustain their future as an equity partner.

What they're looking for:

• Licensed and in good standing in California
• Approximately 5–8 years of solid private investment fund experience
• Experience in forming private investment funds
• Strong familiarity with the key regulatory regimes applicable to investment advisers
• A genuine interest in a long-term, partnership-track path

Logistics:

• Full-time, hybrid role based in San Francisco
• Partnership track with meaningful support for business development
• Direct involvement in high-stakes, sophisticated fund matters

Compensation:

• Anticipated annual base salary of $310,000–$360,000, depending on experience, industry background, education, and other factors
• Additional bonus and advancement potential
