Senior Structural Project Engineer

San Francisco Bay Area | $135,000–$175,000 + Excellent Benefits

I'm representing a highly respected structural engineering firm seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to join its team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to lead complex projects, make technical decisions, build client relationships, and have a meaningful impact within a growing practice.

What You'll Do

• Lead structural design projects from concept through construction administration
• Manage project teams and coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables
• Provide technical leadership, quality control, and mentorship
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and project partners

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering required; M.S. preferred
• California PE required; SE preferred
• 7+ years of structural design experience
• Strong seismic design experience, including:
  • Braced frames
  • Moment frames
  • Shear wall systems
• Proficiency with ETABS, RISA, RAM, Enercalc, Revit, and MS Office
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers preferred
