Mid-Level Associate Attorney – Litigation
Hybrid, $140,000 – $250,000 + Bonus Structure
A boutique California litigation firm is looking to add a mid-level associate to its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants substantive case involvement, mentorship opportunities, and a genuinely relaxed office culture—without sacrificing the quality of work.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with two partners on a mix of:
General liability defense
Business litigation & contract disputes
Professional liability (attorney & accountant malpractice)
Probate litigation and administration
The firm handles a wide range of matters, giving you exposure to both litigation strategy and client-facing work across industries—including high-profile clients in the sports space.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing and supporting litigation files from intake through resolution
Taking and defending depositions
Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal analysis
Assisting with trial preparation and strategy
Mentoring and guiding more junior associates as you grow into the role
What They’re Looking For
3–10+ years of litigation experience (general liability, insurance defense, or business litigation preferred)
Probate litigation experience is a plus, but not required
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Someone collaborative, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative

Competitive base salary: $140K – $200K (depending on experience)
