Position Overview
You will handle General Liability and Construction Defect cases. This role involves working closely with senior attorneys, managing cases independently, and being involved in all aspects of litigation, from discovery through trial preparation and settlement negotiations. It’s a fantastic opportunity for career advancement within a highly regarded firm.
Responsibilities
Manage and litigate General Liability and Construction Defect defense cases
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Conduct legal research and case analysis
Work with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and client management
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar
3 to 6 years of experience in General Liability and/or Construction Defect defense litigation
Strong communication, legal writing, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $145,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
