Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on earthwork, underground utility, roadway, and site development projects with a company that offers long-term stability and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Participate in bid reviews and preconstruction meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Experience with earthwork, grading, excavation, underground utilities, roadway, or site development.
• Ability to read plans and contract documents.
• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, AGTEK, Bid2Win, or similar estimating software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
