About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Truss Designer with 5+ years of MiTek multifamily design experience to join a well-established structural components team. This role focuses on producing precise, efficient designs for multifamily projects, ensuring structural integrity and field installation ease while meeting customer and code requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and design multifamily roof and floor truss layouts using MiTek design software.
Interpret architectural and structural plans to produce accurate truss designs and production drawings.
Collaborate with builders, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to deliver cost-effective, code-compliant solutions.
Optimize designs for speed, material efficiency, and simplified job site installation.
Provide technical support to production and field personnel.
Ensure adherence to all building codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Truss Designer using MiTek software in a multifamily design environment.
Strong understanding of truss design principles, structural loads, and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
