MEP Project Manager

Overview
Seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager / Coordinator to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems on complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage) across all project phases
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability
- Oversee RFIs, change orders, commissioning, and closeout processes
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Ensure compliance with local codes, inspections, and safety standards
- Support preconstruction, estimating, budgeting, and cost control (quantity takeoffs, MEP pricing)
- Partner with VDC/BIM teams to resolve coordination issues
- Identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and service disruptions
- Drive quality control, testing, and system performance
Qualifications
- Experience managing MEP scopes on commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Proficient in construction documents, scheduling, and project coordination
- Experience with BIM/VDC, RFIs, submittals, and change management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
