Job Description

A local bank in Fruita is hiring a Credit Analyst to support lenders across Mesa County and the Grand Valley on the Western Slope. You'll partner with loan officers on underwriting and risk rating, with room to grow into lending or a senior credit role.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and tax returns for business and ag borrowers
• Risk-rate new loans and monitor existing credit lines
• Prepare credit write-ups for loan committee
• Support month-end and regulatory reporting
• Help keep the loan portfolio in line with policy and compliance
• Share knowledge and help train new staff

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• A year or more of bank credit analysis experience preferred
• Solid Excel and spreading skills
• Works well with loan officers and other teams
• Interested in a long-term path into lending
