Estate Planning Drafting Attorney | Florida

A well-established and respected trusts & estates practice is seeking an Estate Planning Drafting Attorney with sophisticated drafting experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys the technical and strategic side of estate planning and wants to work on complex, high-net-worth planning matters in a collaborative environment.

The practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning for individuals and families, including taxable estates, wealth transfer strategies, and trust planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advanced wealth transfer planning documents
  • Work on taxable estate planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Assist with trust administration and estate settlement matters as needed
  • Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and clients on comprehensive planning strategies
  • Review and analyze estate structures, asset titling, and tax considerations to support planning objectives

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar membership in good standing
  • 5+ years of estate planning drafting experience
  • Experience with taxable estate planning matters required
  • Experience with estate tax returns (706) and/or gift tax returns (709) is a plus
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus
  • Strong drafting, technical, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-oriented environment
