Insurance Coverage Attorney: Complex Coverage Litigation in Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Our client, a respected South Florida firm, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its Fort Lauderdale office. The practice represents insurers in coverage disputes, declaratory judgment actions, and bad faith litigation involving commercial, property, and professional liability policies.

This is an in-office role in Fort Lauderdale, working closely with partners and clients.

What You'll Do

• Analyze policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions
• Litigate declaratory judgment and bad faith actions in state and federal courts
• Draft dispositive motions, discovery, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions of claims professionals and experts
• Advise carriers on coverage positions and resolution strategy

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of insurance coverage or civil litigation experience
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Strong judgment and attention to detail
• Commitment to working in office in Fort Lauderdale
