Job Description

A well established HVAC company is in search of a highly qualified Sales Project Manager who has experience in the Mechanical/HVAC industry. The HVAC Sales Project Manager is responsible for generating and managing profitable installation projects from initial customer engagement through final completion. This role includes coordinating scheduling, overseeing project progress, ensuring timely payment collection, and cultivating customer referrals. The position is expected to consistently achieve or surpass monthly sales goals and closing-rate objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and complete required material take-offs manually, through vendor assistance, or by using estimating software.
• Request, monitor, and organize project submittals, gather vendor pricing, and prepare detailed customer proposals.
• Consult with customers regarding new HVAC comfort system solutions.
• Deliver effective sales presentations that demonstrate the value and benefits of proposed systems.
• Maintain department profitability by preparing accurate estimates using established pricing guidelines while emphasizing quality workmanship and customer value.
• Coordinate with internal support teams regarding financing details, scheduling, and project updates in a timely manner.
• Communicate project specifications and customer expectations clearly to installation teams through written instructions, verbal discussions, drawings, and photos.
• Stay in contact with installers and customers throughout the installation process to ensure quality standards are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three years of Project Management experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
