Senior Estimator – Commercial Interiors

📍 Orlando, FL | Regional Travel Required

A well-established and growing commercial specialty contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts on commercial interior projects throughout Central Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and specialty interiors who enjoys working on complex, high-profile projects while partnering with operations and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for commercial interior construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Manage bid packages, RFIs, site visits, and proposal preparation
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
• Collaborate with project management and field operations teams
• Develop relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and industry partners
• Support business development and mentor junior estimators

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Experience with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, or commercial interior construction
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating practices
• Experience with Bluebeam, On Center, Quick Bid, The EDGE, or similar estimating software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
