Project Coordinator – Custom Home Builder
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an established custom home builder seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of high-end custom residential projects.
The ideal candidate is someone who can read drawings, do take-off's/plans, and understand construction itself
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project coordination support for multiple custom home projects.
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project operations.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Coordinate communication between homeowners, vendors, subcontractors, architects, designers, and the construction team.
- Assist with material selections, procurement, and tracking of long-lead items.
- Track project schedules and follow up with vendors and subcontractors regarding deadlines and deliverables.
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes, project updates, selections, specifications, and other project documentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction, residential construction, project coordination, or a related field.
- Custom home or luxury residential construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and construction professionals.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction documents and plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and project management software.
- Experience with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, Houzz Pro, or similar construction software is a plus.
